Pumpkin Protein Mac and Cheese
Wouldn’t it be the dream if mac and cheese could be full of protein, vitamins and healthy? Well now it can be.
This mac and cheese is perfect for the fall time because it is warm, comforting and features everyone’s favorite ingredient PUMPKIN! The real reason this mac and cheese is so good for you though is because of the pumpkin seed protein powder.
I love the pumpkin seed protein powder because it is vegan, contains only the ground up seeds and has a very mild flavor. So it would work great in sweet recipes but also work well in savory dishes like this one. I think it is a nice way to up your protein game with a natural source of protein! Also, even though it is green as you can see it did not make my sauce appear green at all which I like as well.
