Paired with coconut, maqui berry powder takes the tropical smoothie concept to a whole new level. The sweet notes in maqui berry powder seamlessly play off the smooth textures in found in coconut.

  • ¼ cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • 2 tbs Maqui Berry Powder
  • 2 cup coconut milk (substitute with water)

We’ve already played around with loading berries on top of berries in our triple berry smoothie. In that recipe the main ingredient was acai. However, we wanted to create a berry smoothie that highlights the perfect balance between sweet and tart. With the addition of Maqui berry powder, we are finally able to do this with ease.

Recipe:

  • 1/4 cup Kale or Spinach
  • ¼ blueberries
  • ¼ strawberries
  • ¼ blackberries
  • 1 tbs Maqui Berry Powder
  • 1 cup almond milk (substitute with water)

Directions: Blend all of the ingredients together at medium speed.

Makes enough for one. Top the smoothie with chia, buckwheat, and flax seeds from our trilogy seed mix.
